Today Roger Goodell sent a letter to the nfl owners hoping to clarify the actions that he and the other top officials took leading up to mondays video release. Goodell said he didnt see the video until it became public monday. Second, League Officials requested the video multiple times from several new jersey agencies. However, they did not ask that Atlantic City casino directly for the video. Finally goodell says its his understanding the criminal proceedings are still considered an open matter which means under state law investigators still wouldnt be legally allowed to release the video. Amid all this controversy the commissioner spent the afternoon at wake forest high in north carolina. Goodell said hes focused on the future and making sure the nfl is doing right thing. Police have meanwhile confirmed two sightings of Catherine Hoggle in germantown, one sunday near a harristeeter on darnestown road and early yesterday morning near the germantown common shopping area. Relatives are hoping mother and children will be found alive and well.
