Shes been housed in my facility. Reporter Corporal Davidson was surprised to see the familiar face of Betty Jean Queen during yesterdays public plea for help from queens sister. We want you back home. Please get in touch with us. Reporter the gaithersburg woman disappeared a month ago without a trace. She wasnt combative, but she wasnt responsive. Reporter turns out queen had been booked in the jail as jane smith because she had no identification, no fingerprints on file and she refused to give her name. A diagnosed schizophrenic shed been arrested for trespassing, Disorderly Conduct and assaulting a police officer. Do you see a lot of faces . Reporter Corporal Davidson immediately told the therapist in the jail who had connections at the state Mental Health facilities. She told me i definitely checked in. I said please, you got to promise me, she was here. Reporter after one phone call queen was immediately located at Springfield Hospital center bringing relief to a worried family. Good results, happy about that. Reporter police tell us when theres a missing person, photographs are posted online and in queens case distributed to womens shelters and Grocery Stores she was known to frequent, but the protocol does not include photographs to hospitals, mornings and jails. Nearly a week after a shooting involving three High School Football players the community is still grappling with exactly what happened. Reporter one young man remains in the hospital with a head wound recovering from his injuries. Another member of the state championship Douglass Eagles is charged with two counts of attempted murder, but people gathered here tonight say theres much more to the story. Eyewitnesses said geer was unarmed standing with his hands up in the doorway of his springfield home when officer adam torres shot and killed him. The cops were called there for a domestic dispute. The document were released to geers family earlier this week, but only tonight did Fairfax County make them public. They ran out the clock again. They had 30 days and, of course, they took every one of those days. The attorneys for the family say they requested some personal information in the files which has nothing to do with the shooting. They did not want that released to the public. At a hearing in alexandria today a federal judge expressed skepticism about whether the governments no fly list is constitutional. An alexandria man challenged his placement on the list and its constitutionality in 2011. The government has been trying to dent his lawsuit tossed out for four years get his lawsuit tossed out for four years. It wasnt until two or three minutes later after a anybody called that dispatchers sent four engines, a ladder truck, battalion chief, two tankers and paramedics. The Anne Arundel Fire Department launched an after action investigation trying to determine if it could have responded better. The fire did kill don and sandy pyle and their four grand children. A maryland man was sentenced to three years in jail today after pleaded guilty to pleading guilty to kidnapping and assaulting a judge. Rickley senning kidnapped audrey creightons car and crashed it into another vehicle injuring a 13yearold boy and his dad. It is unclear whether judge creighton will face punishment for having that relationship with a convicted felon. A hyattsville man was sentenced to two years in prison in a deadly hit and run. He pleaded guilty in connection with the death of 22yearold cory hubbard crossing route 1 near campus when he was struck last january. Surveillance video shows adepo stumbling out of a bar shortly before the crash. Tomorrow night is midnight for uva fraternities. Requests go out to students for membership and celebrations follow. The Gaming Commission announced it will allow casinos to dump as many as 600 slot machines and replace them with table games, but heres the catch. Only 20 of table game revenue goes into the state comps compared to 67 for slots, money thats all supposed to go toward funding education. A pacemakerlike device was placed inside his body. There is a central unit that is implanted underneath the skin, the right side of the chest. Reporter there are two leads attached to the unit. One goes up to the nerve in the throat, the other inside the ribcage. It senses when a person stops breathing in their sleep. That lead sends signal up to the other lead through this processor and causes stimulation of the nerve, sends the tongue out of the mouth.
