Attorney general Loretta Lynch has launched a full scale federal probe into the citys Police Department. It comes days after the attorney general visited baltimore and the citys mayor requested an independent investigation. The department of justice is opening an investigation into whether the Baltimore Police department has engaged in a pattern or practice of violations of the constitution or federal law. Reporter the investigation will look for discriminatory policing practices including any patterns of use of deadly force or improper stops and searches. If unconstitutional policies or practices are found, we will seek a Court Enforceable agreement to address those issues. Reporter the investigation follows the death of 25year old freddie gray fatally injured in Police Custody. His death sparked days of unrest in baltimore. More than 200 people were arrested as cars and businesses burned in marylands largest city. The gray family attorney welcomed the federal probe. This could be a model for the nation. Lance buckley was found in Good Condition at the brunswick Family Campground by Brunswick Police and rangers from the National Park service. Officers say tips led them to that area.
