The fire union does say they think a firefighter should be assigned fulltime to metros control center to help get a jumpstart on any problems that might arise. But the
Biggest Issue they see when they go out on these emergencies is a lack of communication. Their radios just dont work in downtown buildings and in metro tunnels. Virginia House to prohibit state agencies from asking potential employees if theyve ever been arrested, charged or convicted of a crime. Nick giovanni is live in the newsroom with that and more this morning. Good morning nick. Mike, good morning, lets start with a crime this morning the fbi is still investigating the cyber attack at anthem ink. They operate of course
Bluecross Blueshield plans among others in more than a dozen states. Last week the
Company Discovered hackers accessed as many as 80 million customer records exposing
Social Security numbers, birth dates and addresses. Its the largest known breach since last years attack on
Community Health systems which affected 4. 5 million patients, that industry is being targeted because according to the fbi, criminals are willing to pay 50 times more for medical records than for a stolen credit card. Since they contain enough personal information to create a completely false identity. Meanwhile that would keep agencies from asking whether new applicants have ever been arrested, charged with or convicted of a crime. As you both mentioned, now the socalled ban the box bill goes to the house of delegates which has rejected similar measures in the past.
