We are outside the savopoulos home which is still clearly a very active and protected crime scene. Investigators were here over the weekend once again continuing to pull out evidence from Savvas Savopoulos where he, his wife, their 10yearold son and housekeeper were held captive. Police are convinced daron wind did not act alone. Police have confirmed men and women taken into custody when wind was arrested were questioned and then released but that doesnt mean police wont bring them in again with more questions. This is all part of their investigation and of course as Police Continue to build their case. Police also have questions for the assistant who delivered 4,000 in cash here while the family was being held. Those familiar with the case say he has been a bit inconsistent with what he says happened that day. Now as far as motive goes, police say it was motivated by money, but they also say, yes, this was somewhat of an inside job meaning wind was a former employee of the savopoulos family but d. C. Prosecutor spoke to us about the case. She says it goes much further than that. There had to be some connection because wind worked there ten years wint worked there ten years ago. So there has to be some connection to someone that wint knows thats working there now that was able to give the details to know about the money and that they could get the money delivered to the house. Over the weekend flooding from record setting rains in texas and oklahoma swept away brinks, homes and left bridges, homes and left several people dead, including a firefighter. It even sparked tornadoes there. Omar villafranca has more. Reporter with more rain on the way, memorial day events have been canceled in the city of san marcos, texas today. The city suffered extensive damage over the weekend when heavy rainfall caused the blanco river to top its banks. Oh, my god, oh, my god. Reporter the raging river destroyed roads, wiped away hundreds of homes and sparked dramatic rescues. Nearby wimberley was also hard hit. Officials there are searching for several people unaccounted for aft storms. Thousands of others who were forced to evacuate are being urged to stay away from their homes. In the news right now, at least 71 people were arrested in cleveland this weekend involved in protests over the acquittal of a Police Officer in the shooting death of to africanamericans. The cleervegland Police ClevelandPolice Department has been criticized for its use of Excessive Force leading to other high profile cases. Reporter hundreds of protesters took to the streets of cleveland last night but there was no looting, no fires, or real violence because of saturdays verdict allowing 31 yearold Michael Brelo to walk free. Therefore find that brelos entire use of deadly force was a constitutional reasonable response. Reporter brelo was one of a dozen of officers who chased Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams in cleveland in november 2012. When it was over a total of 13 officers had fired more than 130 rounds into the car. Brelo jumped on the hood of the car and fired 15 bullets through the windshield after the couple had stopped moving. Timothys sister Michele Russell is furious brelo was acquitted. It was horrible. I mean, everything, all that evidence that was available and they still walked. Nothing happens to anybody.
