Rob. Watts is accused of bursting into the apartment after 9 00 last night with two accomplices. One of the victims, a 26year old man was shot in the shoulder during the struggle and the two accomplices got away with some money, but watts paid for it dearly. The alleged gunman was so badly injured after having his gun taken away from him by his victims hes still in the hospital. One of the victims was able to get a handle on the gun and was actually helped out by another victim. So a struggle ensued. One of the victims actually suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder. They were able to detain this one suspect. The other two suspects actually fled. Reporter police say none of this was an accident. The robbers knew the suspects according to police and came here knowing what they were looking for and the children who were there at the time thankfully were unhurt, but perhaps not undamaged by the terror they witnessed in their home. Watts is charged with attempted murder, armed robbery, assault and use of a firearm while the search is on for the two guys who got away. In aspen hill, scott broom, wusa9. A Home Invasion stabbing in mclean put a middle aged couple in the hospital and two attorneys are behind bars charged in this one. Investigators are still at the home on spencer drive. Sources tell wusa9 that those suspects like the victims are also attorneys who are 30 and 31 years old. This dispute apparently arose from a recent employment separation. Obviously its a horrible tragedy. Respond to a knock at the front door and theyre confronted by a guy. He eventually makes his way into the house, assaults both the male and female out occupants, homeowners, and one of them im told female occupants, homeowners, and one of them im told was able to get to an internal alarm system. A 15 and 16yearold were arrested on the spot and the School Administrator inside wilson Senior High School, he recognized the two suspects. Four incidents took place within minutes in a hallway, school shower and a stairwell. Thats not surprising because i saw a girl get mugged in the bus on thursday.
