Now according to a witness and police on the scene, that the cruiser hit that divider after he tried to avoid that man. And one witness told wusa9 that the cruiser seemed to be going more than 89 miles an hour. As they say they believe that the officer was responding to a call. A crash report repaired by Dc Police Say that it might have caused last weeks collision between that fire engine and a dc police car as the police car and the firefighter suffered. The fire personnel reported an air leak and a faulty valve bracket on the fire engine, but the firefighters were told to wait for a response from a foreman as to when to have it fixed. The Fire Department says they are now checking the brakes on all of its vehicles. Dc police are also trying to find the man who attacked a woman after climbing in to his car mistakingly thinking it was uber. The woman says that the driver held her at knife point and sexually assaulted her very Early Saturday Morning on macomb street northwest.
