Chris, any more rain on the way . Chris another round of heavy rainfall tomorrow, then it will clear out and roll down in time for the new year. The front towards columbia, it moves further south. Evil cleaning up this morning, the tornado was 75 yards wide and on the ground for under a mile. The biggest concern at home will be the flood watch in effect and until thursday at 7 00 a. M. More flooding is likely. On the future plus, we will see clouds increase throughout the evening and overnight. Sprinkles begin to show up on radar by 3 30. I want to show you a picture from earlier this morning of the piece of property i am standing on at caroland farm. In floodwaters, three feet deep in some areas. Check it out now. The water is now all gone, but it has left behind a muddy mess. Theres still plenty of water left behind. Caroland farm manager matt rainey says the Pacolet River has been high the past couple of weeks, but this morning, he says the water started coming over banks, spilling onto the land around it. Thankfully, all of the farms cattle were moved to safety. So far, it doesnt look like any equipment was damaged, either, but itll take time to know how the crops here were affected. Not really sure what kind of damage were going to have here, but like i said before, its pretty minor here compared to the issues columbia dealt with. Its not my house. Nobodys hurt. Nobodys dead. Its farming. We will move on. Mandy a portion of highway 14 had to be closed because of the flooding, but crews worked to now, bracing for another round of expected rain. Barricades will remain up in asheville after heavy flooding, firefighters had to save a family in a minivan, after the Swannanoa River road flooded. They were able to throw the family life jackets, and help them to safety, it wasnt the only road there to flood. Sweeten creek road, part of lyman street, and dupree circle among others also flooded. In Biltmore Village in asheville, theyre trying to push all of this mud thats collected in parking lots, out of the way. A wider shot shows many of these parking lots are empty of people, but some cars have been left behind. The john b lewis soccer complex on azalea road is flooded in some spots, and there is a muddy mess next to this nearby business. Also in buncombe county, a portion of this railroad track, along highway 70 in swannanoa, is closed off. Take a look. A big chunk of land crumbled, leaving a hole under the track. This wide shot of the asheville French Broad River stands. Its even spilled over in some places. And as sky 4 brings us south to landrum, we get another view of caroland farms on North Pacolet road. Through the fog, we can see the pastures are empty of cows, but filled with water. Thats because workers had to move the cows to Higher Ground as the water here continued to rise. Now, the hope is that the sunshine will stick around and help dry things up. The fire happened on white pine drive on december 23rd. Investigators believe heather stagg, her husband, michael, and their fiveyearold son, samuel, died in the fire. But because of the condition of able to confirm the identities during recent autopsies. More testing is being done. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Gabrielle Greenville Police are releasing surveillance pictures of a man they say robbed the spinx on East Washington street yesterday morning. Police say this man came into the store around 1 45 in the morning. They say he wore all black, with a camouflage handkerchief over his face. Nigel in greenwood county, authorities there have seized hundreds of name brand knockoff items during a raid just before christmas. Police say the items are worth thousands of dollars. Demetrius andrews has been charged with counterfeiting. Authorities believed the shop tshirts and accessories on milwee avenue was selling the knockoff items. It was raided on the 23rd. A number of items at andrews home were also taken by officers. Authorities say escaped from prison almost 30 years ago has been arrested in horry county. Officers say James Edward Coe escaped from prison on june 23rd, 1986. On sunday, police say he was caught shoplifting at hudsons flea market in surfside. The owner of the flea market says coe walked away from the shop without paying for a piece of jewelry. Coe is being held with no bond. He was originally set to be released from prison in 1989.
