Abdul Mannan died around 7:00pm on January 13, while undergoing treatment there, Hassan added.
His namaz-e-janaza was held at the Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court in Dhaka at 11:00am today, the lawyers said.
While attending in the event, Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh said "We are deeply saddened by his death. Mannan had all the virtues a lawyer needs to have …He was respected by all for his qualities," the mayor added.
Advocate Khandaker Abdul Mannan was the former president and general secretary of DBA. The veteran lawyer was 70.
