Local Link Kerry has continued to provide vital transport throughout the pandemic and continues to operate, on a reduced capacity, during the current Level Five restrictions. With buses operating from Ballylongford to Bonane, from Barraduff to Brandon Point and everywhere in between, Local Link Kerry services cover the length and breadth of county, and this vital service has ensured that those who need rural transport have not been left abandoned during the pandemic. Last week Cathaoirleach Cllr Patrick O'Connor-Scarteen paid tribute to the drivers who have continued to operate throughout lock-down. General Manager of Local Link Kerry, Alan O'Connell, said that all precautions are taken, including reduced capacity and regular cleaning. He said the service has proven vital.
