TRIBUTES have been paid to a Dee Radio broadcaster who passed away suddenly last weekend. Mike James had been part of Chester's Dee Radio (formerly Dee 106.3) for over 15 years, having previously been at North Wales Coast 96.3. The station has confirmed Mike, a much-loved presenter who had most recently been on the Saturday Sport Show, sadly passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 30. The radio presenter had regularly entertained thousands over the airwaves with different broadcast slots over the years, including the morning shows in recent years. Dee Radio Programme director Phil Rodgers said: “We are deeply saddened to hear this tragic news.
