Tulip Time Artisan Market going virtual, deadline Sunday
HOLLAND — A popular Tulip Time event is going virtual in 2021.
The Artisan Market is one of several events that have been announced for the upcoming festival, which will take place Saturday-Sunday, May 1-9. In the past, the event has hosted 200 vendors and thousands of visitors at Centennial Park in downtown Holland.
However, the nonprofit organization responsible for planning the festival, also called Tulip Time, announced this month the market will continue in a virtual setting.
"An event of this magnitude, with a high level of interaction between artists and shoppers, presents many unique challenges," the organization wrote in a statement. "Safety for all participants is our top priority."
