Swords and bats were used in an attack on two men in a Brampton neighbourhood which has led to the arrest of 12 people. Peel Regional Police say the attack took place earlier this month on December 14 in the area of Kennedy Rd. and Ruth Ave. Two men walking in the area just after midnight were confronted by the gang who used the swords and bats to beat them. The pair, a 21-year-old and a 20-year-old, survived the incident but were taken to hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. Not long after police arrested 12 suspects. Police are now looking for the driver of a vehicle that fled the scene, almost striking several people in the process. The vehicle is described as a black or dark coloured Jeep Wrangler with damage to the front windshield.
