Courtesy-Seymour Police Dept. SEYMOUR, Ind. – SWAT members, from the Seymour and Brownstown Police Departments and the Jackson County Sheriff Office, executed a Jackson Superior Court 1 narcotics search warrant, on Friday, in the 700 block of West Brown St., in Seymour. A probable cause had been developed to obtain a search warrant for narcotics. During the search, narcotics officers allegedly located methamphetamine, mobile devices, drug paraphernalia, U.S. currency, and power tools. During post-Miranda interviews, investigators learned that the power tools were obtained subsequent to narcotics distribution. Mark Blewett, 52, and Cindy Jo Turner, 47, both of Seymour, were arrested for dealing in methamphetamine, possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of paraphernalia. They now reside at the Jackson County Jail.
