Windsor Police have laid drug trafficking and weapons charges after an officer from the Problem Oriented Policing Unit observed two people believed to be actively dealing drugs in the downtown core. On Thursday, July 8th, 2021, at 8:00pm, the officer was patrolling the 600 block of Ouellette Avenue and observed two people in a vehicle believed to be actively dealing drugs . The officer continued to investigate and the two occupants were subsequently arrested.
