Two Child Abuse Suspects Arrested After Forcing Child To Sleep Outside In Tent Two child abuse suspects were arrested Tuesday after they allegedly forced their child to sleep outside multiple times, officials said. On Monday around 10:30 p.m. deputies responded to a call for service to a residence on the 19900 block of Christopher Lane, Santa Clarita, regarding possible child abuse, said Candice Gonzales, a spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. “It was reported by an unknown informant that the child was being abused at the location,” Gonzales said. Upon further investigation, deputies discovered the child had been forced to sleep outside in a tent numerous times as a form of discipline, without access to food, water and indoor utilities, according to Gonzales.
