The first was reported shortly after 1 a.m. near the intersection of 55th Avenue and Foothill boulevard. Officers found that a man had been shot with a gun. They tried to save him, according to Officer Johnna Watson, but he was pronounced dead on the scene. There's no word yet on what led up to the fatal gunfire.
