Douglas County Sheriff's Department patch MAPLE, WI (KDAL) – Two 12 year old boys were taken into custody by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department after threats were made to the Northwestern Middle School on Tuesday. The two students were overheard by others making detailed plans to “shoot up the school” and targeting a specific individual. An investigation continued into Wednesday when the two juveniles were detained by authorities.
