A 12-year-old pet python has made it home safely after catching a ride to the Emerald McDonald’s store on Wednesday. Marcia Hayston said her two-metre long snake, Guts, went missing from her Mayfair home about 6am on February 10. “I was home unwell from work and didn’t check on him until later that day when I realised he was missing,” she said. “My older son had checked on him the afternoon before and must have not locked the enclosure properly.” Little did she know, Guts had slithered to her neighbour’s house, who found him at the front door at 6.30am.
