DOBSON — What a way for Surry Central to break into the win column. After trailing 3-0 in the bottom of the seventh inning, Surry Central’s Brady Woods and Dakota Mills each hit multi-run home runs to walk off victorious 5-3. “I’m really proud of our guys for battling and finding a way to win tonight in the seventh,” said Central coach Jeff Edmonds. “Hopefully, this will give us some momentum going into the last half of the season.” The Eagles struggled to get on base in the first six innings of Tuesday’s game. Central only had two hits in that time; Mills singled to lead off the game for the Golden Eagles, eventually reaching third but being left on base, and Brady Edmonds singled in the bottom of the fourth.
