HARRISONBURG, Va. –  About 66% of Harrisonburg residents are not fully vaccinated and according to a new study that puts them at a much greater risk of being hospitalized should they get COVID-19.
Cleveland Clinic’s study found 99% of those who required hospitalization between January and mid-April were not fully vaccinated according to Dr. Eduardo Mireles.  He says that proves the vaccine works.
Overall, your chances of being hospitalized due to the coronavirus are pretty low.  Fewer than 3% of COVID cases in Harrisonburg have resulted in a hospital stay.
