Photo: Lorain County Sheriff's Office Cleveland, OH - On Thursday, July 15, 2021, detectives from the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office along with the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, began to track the location of Justin Hamilton. After obtaining, a possible location of Hamilton members of the U. S Marshal Fugitive Task Force, located and took custody of Hamilton without incident. Hamilton is being charged with Vandalism, a Felony of the 5th Degree and Escape, a Felony of the 2nd Degree. Hamilton is scheduled to appear in the Elyria Municipal Court on Monday, July 19, 2021. Both Hamilton and Kevin McKitrick escaped from the Lorain/Medina Community Based Correctional Facility last month. McKitrick turned himself in on Wednesday.
