UAB Collat School of Business Professor Jack Howard, Ph.D., has been named editor-in-chief of the Employee Responsibilities and Rights Journal. The journal, founded in 1989, offers an international forum for scholarly peer-reviewed original research, including qualitative and quantitative empirical studies, case studies, critical commentaries, and conceptual and dialectic presentations.
Howard is a Professor of Management at Collat focusing on human resource management and employee rights and serves as interim chair of the Management, Information Systems & Quantitative Methods Department. He has a secondary appointment as a senior scientist in the School of Medicine’s Integrative Center for Aging Research.
Howard earned his doctorate in human resources management and personnel administration from the University of Illinois and has earned numerous teaching awards, including the UAB President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.
