The Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) Civil Court has ordered an Arab man to pay Dh2,500 to another Gulf national as compensation for the damage his minor son caused to the plaintiff’s car. Court records showed the complainant moved the RAK Civil Court and demanded Dh9,850 be paid as compensation for the damage caused to his vehicle. “The minor son was illegally driving the car of his father. He recklessly rammed into my car, causing damage,” the complainant alleged.
