Debra Griffith, TDPS event director, admits that canceling the in-person event was a difficult decision, yet she continued to be inspired by the many local nonprofits who rely on this event to raise much needed awareness and funds. “We waited until the last possible moment in hopes of hosting a true event,” she says. When that wasn't possible, “we decided we wanted to keep the spirit of the tour alive and began promoting the event with the slogan 'We can’t all ride together, but together we can ride to make a difference.'"
