Representational image THANE: In an unfortunate incident, a four-year-old drowned in a nullah in Ulhasnagar in Maharashtra's Thane district on Sunday evening. Ulhasnagar was battered with very intense rainfall throughout Sunday, with rivers and nullahs on the verge of overflowing. The incident took place around 7 pm in the Shanti Nagar area of Ulhasnagar. "The child has been identified as one Rudra Gupta who resided at one of the shanties in the locality. In the evening, he had gone to pee near a nullah adjoining his house, where he lost his balance and fell into the raging water," said Yuvraj Bhadane, public relations officer, Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation.
