THE planned residential redevelopment of farm buildings in Clapham looks set to be given the go-ahead. Craven District Council’s planning committee unanimously supported plans to create four new homes at Fountain House Farm, The Green, but left final approval to its planning manager, who will make the decision subject to an updated bat survey. Councillors also agreed to a number of additional conditions including the addition of solar panels and electric car charging points, and one ensuring that the private access road to the site be left in no worse a condition after construction work. A further condition making sure that the new homes were for local families only and not for holiday lets, was not possible, the committee was told.
