Updated: Jan 8, 2021, 06:57 AM IST Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with economists and sectoral experts on Friday to mull over measures that could possibly be included in the upcoming budget in the wake of the uncertainty created in the market due to COVID-19. The government think-tank Niti Aayog is organising the meeting virtually and it will be attended by Niti Aayog Vice Chairman Rajiv Kumar and Niti Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant. "The Prime Minister will meet economists on Friday to seek their inputs for the next budget," a government official told PTI on condition of anonymity. On a year-on-year basis, Asia`s third largest economy had grown by 4.2 per cent in 2019-20.
