And organizers said the goal of completing the first 500 kits is being made possible due to a partnership with Welch LLP and tremendous donation support from the community. Moments later, that number had been doubled and nearly tripled. This year, many local agencies have seen a tremendous increase in requests for hygiene and food items and were grateful to be able to help fill that need together, thanks to the tremendous response from our community,” said Brandi Hodge, executive director, United Way Hastings & Prince Edward.
