Unknown timeline for amending buildup agreement By Anumita Kaur The Preservation Office said that it still plans to review, and potentially amend, the agreement between the government of Guam and the military that dictates historic preservation efforts during the Marine Corps buildup, although it’s unclear when this will happen or the scope of changes. “We’re still looking into it. Since I’ve been back, I haven’t had a sit down with the (attorney general’s) office yet, and that’s one of the things I need to do,” said state historic preservation officer Patrick Lujan. “Maybe after I have a discussion with the AG’s office, I’ll have a better idea.”
