SHARE ON: Isaac Hoops/The Nevada Sagebrush. ASUN, UNR Diversity & Inclusion and The Joe Crowley Student Union hosted an event to remember victims of racism, violence and hate. Flags were handed out to be written on and placed on the grass in front of The Joe Crowley Student Union. The University of Nevada, Reno’s Department of Diversity and Inclusion, in collaboration with the Associated Students at the University of Nevada, invited members of the community to join them for an hour to honor and pay tribute to all victims of racism, violence and hate in the community on Tuesday, May 11. The event comes 21 days after the final verdict of George Floyd’s murder.
