UNWTO discusses harmonised protocols for resumption of post-Covid travel RIYADH, 2 hours, 12 minutes ago The UNWTO Regional Commission for the Middle East held a key meeting in Riyadh, where the members agreed to work on the creation of harmonised protocols to support the resumption of regional travel in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic.
High on the agenda at the meeting for these 13 members was adopting a coordinated approach to developing unified protocols for safe and responsible travel throughout the region.
The meeting took place in the Saudi capital, a day after the United Nations specialised agency for tourism opened its first regional office there.
