The King County court judge recognized Sherman as a "pillar in this community" but placed some strict conditions on his release while the case plays out. Authorities believe what transpired leading up to the arrest was a drunken night that resulted in him crashing his SUV and rendering it undrivable. Not to mention threats to hang himself.
