From The Tribune staff reports UPDATE: Cullman County Coroner Jeremy Kilpatrick confirmed on Tuesday that a second person has died following a weekend plane crash in Cullman County. Kilpatrick says Frederick Dawson Holloway, 74, of Cullman died of injuries sustained during the crash. EARLIER: CULLMAN COUNTY — Authorities say the man killed in a plane crash near Cullman Regional Airport has been identified as 70-year-old John T. Sigman, of Dyserburg, Tenn. A second occupant was left seriously injured following the crash, which occurred at approximately 5:45 p.m. Saturday in a wooded area near the airfield. The second victim has been identified as Cullman resident Frederick Dawson Holloway — a passenger at the time of the crash, according to reports.
