Uppena First Week Worldwide Collections:- Supreme Star Sai Dharam Tej's brother Vaisshnav Tej made his debut with Uppena, a rustic village based romantic entertainer. Buchi Babu, a protege of Sukumar is the director and Krithi Shetty made her debut as the leading lady. Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi played the role of the lead antagonist in Uppena which had a worldwide release last Friday. Leaving everyone in surprise, the film opened with a bang and reported huge numbers over the weekend. The word of mouth has been extremely positive and the film stood super strong in its first week. Uppena collected a theatrical share of Rs 38.18 crores in its first week worldwide. This is a new record for the film of a debutant or any young actor of Telugu cinema. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director and the music album is a smashing hit. Mythri Movie Makers produced Uppena and they spent Rs 24 crores on the film.
