LONGWOOD, Fla. – Two sibling toddlers who were reported missing have died after being pulled from a pond Sunday evening in Seminole County, according to sheriff’s officials.
The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office said it received a call around 7:20 p.m. about a 3-year-old girl and her 2-year-old brother who were missing at the Highcroft Point Townhomes on Wekiva Springs Road in Longwood.

The children’s mother was distraught, screaming, “my babies,” when deputies arrived. She said her son and daughter have autism and tend to gravitate toward a nearby pond.
