PETALING JAYA: Several initiatives have been rolled out by the government and NGOs, among them the Covid-19 vaccine registration platform ImuniSel by the Selangor state government, to address the dismal number of registration by senior citizens. ImuniSel, which was launched in April, aims to register those who do not have a smartphone or Internet access given the fact that registering to be vaccinated under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme might be a challenge for senior citizens, after dismal numbers were reflected in recent reports. In a tweet, Selangor Task Force for Covid-19 (STFC) committee member Dr Helmi Zakariah urged interested Malaysians to register as volunteers to help register the non-tech-savvy at imunisel.my
