College roundup: Another honor for Dartmouth’s Allen "> Modified: 7/8/2021 9:27:47 PM HANOVER — Dartmouth College head men’s heavyweight rowing coach Wyatt Allen added to his pile off postseason honors when he was named Intercollegiate Rowing Association coach of the year on Wednesday. The award, which is peer-voted, is Allen’s second coach of the year honor. He was given the same distinction last week by the Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association. The recognition comes from guiding the Big Green to its first medals in varsity eight at May’s IRA Championship in 17 years. All four Dartmouth boats landed in grand finals, with two earning silver and a third taking bronze.
