(Joshua Hart/The Columbian files) Photo Gallery Photo Vancouver will move forward with the sale of its day shelter for the homeless, the city council decided Monday, and begin negotiations with Fort Vancouver Regional Libraries staff looking to purchase the facility and transform it into its new headquarters. Selling the Navigation Center will permanently shut down its daytime shelter program, already temporarily closed due to COVID-19. When operational, the center provided restrooms, laundry, showers and other resources to a daily average of 160 people.
