Picture used for representational purpose only VARANASI: Two labourers were killed while six others suffered injuries when the roof of a dilapidated and partially demolished building collapsed in Varanashi in the hours of Tuesday. The deceased were residents of the Malda district in West Bengal. The incident took place in Kashi Vishwanath Dham (corridor) area. Five injured labourers were discharged from SPG divisional hospital after first aid while the one who sustained a severe leg injury is still in the hospital. "After ending their works, about eight labourers, all from West Bengal, had gathered at a dilapidated building, which was partially demolished but some parts of it was left to support an old structure, around 3.30am. They were busy talking when the roof of the structure collapsed and fell on them," said divisional commissioner Deepak Agarwal.
