The caveat petition says that the applicants/caveators are affected persons and they may be heard in opposition to the present application seeking a stay of the order dated 8.4.2021 in the interest of justice.

A day after the masjid management panel - Anjuman Intezamia Masjid Committee - moved the Allahabad High Court against the April 8 order of a Varanasi local court for an ASI survey of the entire Kashi Vishwanath temple- Gyanvapi mosque complex to ascertain whether the mosque was built after demolishing a temple, the Hindu side on Tuesday filed a caveat that is a petition which urges the High Court to not pass any order without hearing it.
