NORTH COUNTY — A 23-year-old man was arrested Sunday on suspicion of stealing a car and leading deputies on a brief pursuit that began in a Vista shopping center and ended on a dead-end street in San Marcos. The 2015 Nissan Sentra was stolen in San Diego on Christmas, but other details about the theft were not available. On Sunday, Carlsbad police radioed information about the the stolen vehicle, seen in the area of Palomar Airport Road heading east toward San Marcos, about 1:10 p.m. Deputies searched and found the vehicle unoccupied in the parking lot of a Target on Business Park Drive just north of Poinsettia Drive in Vista.
