Velfling honored for years of service to Cheboygan County Cheboygan Daily Tribune Becky Velfling, a housekeeper for Cheboygan County, was recognized for her years of service to the county with a certificate of appreciation at the Cheboygan County Board of Commissioners meeting Tuesday. "Becky has been working in our maintenance department for eight and a half years," said Cheboygan County Administrator Jeff Lawson. "She's done a very good job for us. She's retiring and we would like to recognize her today for all her hard work for the county." Lawson said there were many different evenings since Velfling had started with the county that she had saved them up in the Doris E. Reid building and other buildings the county maintains.
