Created: March 11, 2021 05:09 PM CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. (WHEC) — Verizon Wireless customers in Ontario County Thursday had trouble connecting to the Ontario County Office of Sheriff 911 Center. Since the Sheriff's Office initially shared the issue with News10NBC, it notified us that calls appeared to be working normally as of around 6:20 p.m. Thursday. The sheriff’s office says you should call 585-394-4560 to report an emergency if you’re attempting to call 911 in Ontario County but your phone will not connect or you don’t hear a response from a dispatcher.
