Victory Flame reaches 2 LT Arun Khetarpal, PVC (P) Memorial Victory Flame reaches 2 LT Arun Khetarpal, PVC (P) Memorial SAMBA: As part of the ongoing Swarnim Vijay Varsh celebrations, wreath laying was organised at the memorial of 2 Lt Arun Khetarpal with full military decorum to honour the supreme sacrifice of the Param Veer Chakra awardee in the Battle of Basantar, Samba in 1971 war. The wreath was laid by Rajesh Sharma SSP Samba; Suram Sharma Additional DC Samba; Lt Col Gaurang Jain from Mission First Brigade and other civil and military dignitaries. Several NCC cadets and prominent citizens also gathered to pay homage to the martyr.
