Article content Wherever you are, you can make a difference. Saffron Sexual Assault Centre’s marquee event — the Consent Event — is set for this coming Sunday. Starting at 8 a.m. on May 29, supporters can participate in a virtual five-kilometre fun run. The annual event helps bring awareness to sexual violence prevention, and lets those who have been impacted know that they are believed and supported. “Even if you’re not a runner, sign up anyway because you’re donating money towards a good cause. People can walk, bike, skateboard, pretty much whatever they want to do for a five-kilometre loop somewhere,” said Saffron executive director Katie Kitschke.
