Van Buren Township-based auto supplier Visteon Corp. reported increased sales for the fourth quarter of 2020, but declining margins. Revenue rose 5.8 percent during the quarter to $787 million, compared to $744 million during the same quarter in 2019. However, income dropped nearly 50 percent to $18 million from $35 million during that period. Gross margins sank from 14 percent in the fourth quarter of 2019 to 11.3 percent in Q4 2020. Production of the company's top customers decreased 2 percent in the quarter, Visteon said in a Thursday news release.
