Volunteers provide lunch to those impacted by Scattered Site closure With the Scattered Site Outreach program being sidelined for the next week due to COVID-19 related challenges, a La Ronge group is stepping up to help provide warm meals. The Early Childhood Intervention Program is preparing pick-up or contactless meals. “Why can’t we help out at least with a lunch? I mean it’s not much, but we have the capacity here,” said Program Director Daina Lapworth. Some of the staff from the Scattered Site Outreach program are in isolation after being identified as a close contact with a person who possibly tested positive for COVID-19.
