Voters turn down two of three Randolph County related issues on April election ballot Moberly Monitor-Index While the two questions posed by the Moberly Public School District that appeared on the April 6 Municipal Election ballot both passed, there were three other issues listed on the Randolph County ballot and only one of them met voter approval that required a 57% passage. Voters within the Westran Fire Protection District approved its board of trustees to use general obligation bonds to pay off and purchase all of its leases in the amount of $2,860,000 without raising taxes. The district plans to refinance its current debt and anticipates a savings of about $400,000 or more.
