On Friday, TOI found most city bus drivers have not got their vaccines. While a few of them don't know how to register online, others were waiting to get a slot for the jab. They come to work wearing a simple surgical mask or just an ordinary cotton mask, which may not be enough protection against the Covid-19 virus. A bus driver told this reporter at the Chandmari bus stop that he did not have a smartphone to register online for vaccines. “I do not know how to use the internet either. Government should arrange offline registrations. It would be better for all,” the 38-year-old driver, who hails from the Panjabari area in the city, added.
